Didn't want to live in the moment
Because it was never written in the book again
It was perfectly different
While I waited every day for the end
Sometimes it doesn't matter how it could have been
It's not the same touch after you quit
And I earned his commitment instead
As you lost your grip inside my bead

What inspired me to write this poem is an ended relationship and me getting over it
